When to visit the UAE: the weather month by month, and how to save

Winter is perfect for beaches and the desert; summer is when luxury hotels get cheap. Pick your season.
November–March: the best weather
Days of 23–30°C, cool evenings and a warm sea — ideal for beaches, desert safaris and walking the city. It is also peak season, especially over New Year, so book early.
April–May and October
Hotter but still comfortable if you plan around it: beach in the morning, museums and malls at midday. Prices are well below winter.
June–September: hot and cheap
Temperatures often top 40°C, but five-star hotels are at their cheapest. Choose a resort with a good pool and indoor attractions, and go out early morning or after sunset.
Ramadan
Ramadan moves each year. Avoid eating and drinking in public during daylight, but the evenings are wonderfully atmospheric and hotel prices are often lower.
